I have been following a low-carb diet for over 6 years for health reasons. I am passionate and informed and keep up to date on Keto, Banting, Paleo and Low-Carb.
I ran a restaurant, The Ibis Lounge, in the Eastern Cape for many years. I won the “Trip Advisor Number 1 restaurant” in Nieu Bethesda for 4 years in a row before I sold The Ibis Lounge to move to Cape Town. The Ibis Lounge had a Low-Carb menu section that was extremely popular with locals and visitors alike.

I spent a year with my 9 year old daughter, Indygo, on a round-the-world trip. We did cooking courses in Peru, Argentina, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia. Indygo and I also spent 3 months in Crete and did several Greek cooking classes together.

I am an entrepreneur and have run my own businesses for over 30 years. I am an accredited trainer and love sharing knowledge and skills to inform and uplift others. I am a self-taught cook and loves experimenting, baking and cooking.

I specialise in beautifully presented, great tasting low-carb food.
